We make it easy for you

24-hour biological indicator for steam

  • The indicators contain Geobacillus stearothermophilus (ATCC 7953) 10⁵or 10⁶ spores per ampoule
  • Reading within 24 hours
  • All-in-one chemical and biological indicator

How do I know whether my test is compliant?

The cycle is compliant when

  • The pink stripe on the label has changed to brown
  • When the ampoule remains purple after incubation

The cycle is not compliant if

  • There is a pink stripe on the label after sterilisation
  • The ampoule changes to yellow after incubation = live bacteria that alter the pH, which results in the change in colour
